An Interactive Cocktail Reception with Tour, Bourbon Tasting and Cocktails
The year is 1857, and the lanterns are lit at Stanton Hall. As the clock strikes half past five, you arrive at the grand front door, where Hulda and Frederick Stanton greet you as honored guests. A cool Mint Julep is placed in your hand, its sweet mint and bourbon a prelude to the evening ahead. The Stantons invite you inside, where chandeliers glow over gilded mirrors and polished mahogany.
As you wander the opulent rooms, you’ll hear the soft shuffle of slippers—local children take their places and perform a graceful 19th-century dance just as guests once enjoyed in these very halls. In the Dining Room, silver trays offer a tempting spread of Southern delicacies, each bite steeped in tradition.
The night drifts toward the back porch, where cicadas hum in the twilight. Here, glasses are raised for a Bourbon tasting, each pour telling its own story of Southern craftsmanship. Laughter, music, and the scent of Sweet Olive linger in the air—an evening at Stanton Hall to remember.
