Richmond

Richmond is still home to the descendants of Levin R. Marshall, who purchased the original central section in 1832. Shortly after that purchase, Marshall added the imposing Greek Revival addition to what had been a simple raised cottage. He then added yet another style of rather austere architecture in the early 1850s, thereby creating one of the most interesting homes in the Natchez area.

  • Original cypress floors
  • The double parlors and dining rooms characterize a premier example of the Greek Revival architectural style
  • Furniture placed by the first-generation owners as well as a unique collection of period bathtubs are on display
  • Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978
