Step into the past — and see it bloom anew — with Everything Old Is New Again: A Garden Tour and Party Celebrating Restoration, Heritage, and Timeless Historic Southern Landscapes.

Beginning at 1:00 p.m., this exclusive gardens-only tour invites guests to stroll through the beautifully restored grounds of four historic homes: Greenlea, Myrtle Terrace, Green Leaves, and Bontura. Each garden offers a unique glimpse into Southern landscape traditions brought back to life with modern care and vision. From gracious courtyards and sweeping lawns to heirloom plantings and thoughtfully revived garden designs, each stop tells a story of preservation, creativity, and enduring charm.

Along the way, guests will enjoy the sights, scents, and stories that connect today’s landscapes to generations past, discovering how historic gardens can be lovingly renewed while honoring their original character.

At 4:00 p.m., guests are invited to gather at Bontura for a special slide presentation by noted camellia historian Wayne Stromeyer, followed by a book signing and sale of his newly released second edition of Early Camellias in Louisiana. This expanded edition now features historic Natchez camellias, offering fresh insight into the region’s horticultural legacy and its role in preserving these treasured Southern blooms.

The afternoon concludes in true Southern style with an optional Cocktail Party from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on the lovely grounds of the final home, Twin Oaks, where guests can relax, mingle, and toast to the beauty of restoration amid a stunning historic setting.
