Built by cotton merchant and planter John Henderson, Pleasant Hill was moved one block south using log rollers in 1850s in order for son Thomas Henderson to build Magnolia Hall. This is a fine example of a Greek Revival downtown home of the early 1800s. See the expansive back gallery and gardens of Pleasant Hill.
